Rock Star Camp Types - three to choose from

CUE Rock Star Teacher Camps
A CUE Rock Star Camp is up to three themed days of EdTech lesson design and project-based professional learning with innovative and award winning CUE Rock Star Faculty members, many
of whom are Google Certified Teachers, Apple Distinguished Educators, Microsoft Innovative Educators or
emerging edtech leaders. CUE Rock Star Camps encourage the hallway-style conversations and relationship building that extends well beyond the camp itself.

Each morning starts off with a "shred session." Shred Sessions allow you to see who the presenters are and what the workshops will cover so you can choose wisely before engaging in a pair of two hour hands-on sessions, which are purposely designed to be make and take style. Morning workshops are repeated after lunch in the afternoon.

Lunch is two hours in an "unconferencestyle, includes food, and ends with dessert (typically ice cream). This time allows you to interact with the CUE Rock Star Faculty and your fellow CUE Rock Star participants so you can ask questions, brainstorm and be inspired.

Express and Mini Camps begin with a Friday evening full of inspirational Pecha Kucha talks by faculty. This is an opportunity for participants and faculty to kick off the learning together. What's a Pecha Kucha

Our three-day camps feature an "open-mic" for attendees on Day 3 where they can share out the awesome projects they have created and their favorite take aways.

CUE Rock Star Teacher Express Camps
  • Friday Night Faculty Pecha Kucha Night / Mixer
  • Saturday 2 x 2 hour hands-on sessions
A great event to energize a local affiliate, district or a county, a CUE Rock Star Express Camp is typically a Friday evening and full-day Saturday.  Friday features Pecha Kucha talks, and Saturday follows the format described at the top. Express Camps typically are 50 attendees and larger and require 1 Faculty per 10 attendees.

CUE Rock Star Teacher Mini Camps
  • Friday Night Faculty Pecha Kucha Night / Mixer
  • Saturday/Sunday 2 x 2 hour hands-on sessions
Built for mid-year events, a CUE Rock Star Mini Camp is typically a Friday evening and full-day Saturday and Sunday.  Like an Express, Friday features Pecha Kucha talks, and Saturday and Sunday follow the format described at the top. Mini Camps typically are 60 attendees and larger and require 1 Faculty per 10 attendees.

CUE Classic Rock Star Teacher Camps
  • Three Days of 2 x 2 hour hands-on sessions
The Queen of the Summer, Classic CUE Rock Star Camps are ideally held in a mid-week timeframe, because teachers like weekends off in the Summer, too.  All three days follow the format described at the top. Classic Camps typically are 80 attendees and larger and require 1 Faculty per 10 attendees.
